I am a Licensed Therapist, Child and Adolescent Counselor, and a Board Certified Hypnotherapist.  I have over 13 years of clinical experience working with children, families and adults.  I have had extensive experience and training in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Trauma, Sexual Assault, Depression, Anxiety, Grief and Loss.

I received my Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Geneseo.  I worked in a residential treatment facility in Rochester, NY prior to moving  to Florida.  I  received a Masters  in Social  Work from  the University of  Central Florida.  I have been  interested in the long term

effects of PTSD and trauma on the mind/body since receiving graduate school training at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Women in their Sexual Abuse Treatment Program.

I have worked in community mental health in the Greater Tampa bay area for the last thirteen years.  I continually have searched for more modern methods of decreasing the impacts of trauma on the people I have helped during that time.  In the past thirteen years of practice, I have become Certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) at both Levels and am trained in the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).

In 2004, I found the most effective tool to address PTSD and Trauma; Clinical Hypnosis with Rapid Trauma Resolution™.  After six years of training, I became a Certified Hypnotherapist as well as a Master Practitioner using Rapid Trauma Resolution™.  I am also an Associate Trainer with the Institute of Survivors of Sexual Violence, helping to train therapists in this revolutionary technique. I became a specialty provider for hypnosis with the State of Florida in 2010 and have provided various training’s to those interested in improving their skills with hypnosis and Rapid Trauma Resolution.

I have been licensed in Florida since 1999 and currently have a private practice in the Tampa Bay Area.    In addition, I supervise students and registered interns to meet requirements for licensure for State of Florida.
